A Good Day is one of my all time favorite stamp sets from Stampin’ Up!, and I think it’s perfect for this friendship card. The small images and sentiments are ideal for cards, tags, and boxes. I’ve used this stamp set for Easter projects and birthday and thank you cards.
Because the images are so adorable, you don’t have to color them. However, I color all of the things because I love to color. For this card, I used my Stampin’ Write markers to color the images. (The 2019-2021 In Color Blends will be available on June 4.)
Friendship Card Instructions
I used Whisper White thick cardstock for the card base. Then I stamped all of my images and the sentiment on Whisper White cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. As I mentioned earlier, I used my Stampin’ Write Markers to color the images.
Then I die cut the images using the Stitched Shape Dies (square die #2*). Next, I cut the matting pieces from the 2019-2021 In Colors using the Layering Squares Dies (scallop square die #5*).
I matted each image onto one of the In Color scalloped squares, depending on the colors I used in the image. For instance, I colored the bunny’s bow and his ears pink and his body white. So I used the Rococo Rose mat. Since there are only five In Colors, I used Smoky Slate for the sentiment.
Next I laid out all of the images and arranged them on the card base. When I had them where I wanted them, I adhered them to the base.
Because I used a generic sentiment, I can use this as a friendship card, a birthday card, or even a congratulations card.
If you would like to purchase this stamp set, you need to do so as soon as possible on my online store. Because this stamp set is retiring, you will not be able to purchase it after June 4.

(* I number my dies starting from the smallest die. The smaller the die, the lower the number. So the smallest die is #1; the second smallest die is #2, etc. For the layering die sets, I counted the smooth dies separately from the scalloped dies. So the smallest smooth square die is #1, and the smallest scalloped square is die #1.)
