A Good Man Masculine Card Instructions
Most of us struggle when making masculine cards. This A Good Man card is something you could use for birthdays, Father’s Day, or any other occasion. Nella Henderson created this beautiful sample, which I received in a swap.
To create this card, you’ll need a Basic Gray card base. Begin by matting a piece of Pretty Peacock cut to 5-1/4 x 4 on top of the card base using your adhesive of choice. I prefer Tombow liquid glue. Then layer a 1-1/4 x 5-1/4 strip of Bird Ballad DSP on the Pretty Peacock mat. Use the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut the Pool Party CS, then stamp the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink.
Now use the Memento ink to stamp the image onto the 4-1/2 x 2-1/2 piece of watercolor paper. After giving the ink a couple of seconds to dry, use the Blends to color the image.
As a final touch, you can add paint splatter one of two ways. One way is to smoosh a little ink onto an acrylic block, then use an Aqua Painter to splatter the ink. The other way is to lightly tap the Blends on the watercolor paper. Both ways are equally effective.
If you would like to purchase any of the items used to create this card, they are linked above. Or you can shop my online store. Be sure to use the August Hostess Code (JFQZ7F6E), so you’ll be entered into my monthly giveaway.
