Bouquet of Hope Alternative
This Bouquet of Hope Alternative is so easy to make. With just a little Designer Series Paper (DSP) or patterned paper and a little coloring, you have a beautiful card. If you didn’t want to color, you could replace the stamped image with one of the die cut pieces from the Paper Pumpkin kit. You would simply glue it on top of the Stitched Nested Label. Easy peasy.
Of course, I couldn’t do that, because I love to color. So I stamped the flowers from the stamp set in the kit using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then I used my Blends to color the image. Remember, if you want to color with your alcohol markers (Blends), you need to use a dye ink. Otherwise, your ink will bleed into your coloring.
For my sentiment, I heat embossed using White Emboss Powder on Just Jade cardstock. I also used Just Jade and layered it on my card base. Before I adhered it, though, I used the Ornate Floral 3-D Embossing Folder. I love embossing folders. They give texture and interest to your cards without breaking the bank.
The DSP or patterned paper I used was from Flower & Field from Sale-A-Bration. If you’re like me, you still have some of that left. If you missed out on the paper, don’t worry. There are many DSP packs to choose from in our annual catalog and our January to June 2021 mini catalog. You can view those by clicking on the catalog cover on the right side of your screen.
