Climbing Orchid Card
I received this beautiful Climbing Orchid card from my upline, Linda Cullen, along with this beautiful etched block. In case you’re wondering, it’s block H. The Climbing Orchid stamp set and the Florentine dies are no longer available. Linda made this card, and I think it’s beautiful.
However, you could recreate this card using the Floral Essence stamp set (in place of the Climbing Orchid stamp set) and the Stitched Lace dies (in place of the Florentine dies). Of course, you could use any other stamp set in place of the Climbing Orchid set. You could also substitute any dies, or embossing folders for the Florentine dies. I just think the Floral Essence stamp set would compliment the Stitched Lace dies nicely.
Linda used Stampin’ Blends (light Pineapple Punch, light Pineapple Punch, Mango Melody combo, light Soft Sea Foam, Granny Apple Green combo, light Basic Black, and Highland Heather combo) to color the Orchids.
Because the Floral Essence stamp set includes one flower that is a two-step stamp, you could use the stamps to color the flowers. Or you could color them with Blends. If you buy the Floral Essence Bundle, you will receive the Perennial Flower Punch, and you’ll save 10%.
I received the etched H block, because I reached a milestone as an Independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator. Linda surprised me with this block, and I love it. The block looks beautiful in my stamping room. Sorry about the poor photo. It’s hard to photograph the clear blocks.
Card Class Announcement
Later this week, I’m going to announce a card class. This is a new product for me. Basically, I will have card kits and card classes available for purchase. Stay tuned for more information regarding those classes and kits.
If you would like to purchase any Stampin’ Up! products, you may order them from my online store.
Thank you for stopping by, and have a great day.
