Finding Inspiration – CASEing. CASEing means Copy And Share Everything or Copy And Selectively Edit. They basically mean the same thing. For today’s card, I copied and selectively edited. Unfortunately, I didn’t write down the name of the person who created my original inspiration. Also, I’m not including a photo of their original card for two reasons. First, sharing a photo of their card on my blog would be a violation of copyright laws. Second, I didn’t keep a copy of the photo, which was a screenshot.
Basically, the original card was done in blues. I believe she used Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay. I wanted to try some greens. She also used a different embellishment. Because I used Silver Foil for one of the trees, I thought the metallic pearls would be perfect. Also, her original card had a bow. I opted not to use ribbon.
- Perfectly Plaid
- Basic White
- Mint Macaron
- Soft Seafoam
- Silver Foil
- Mint Macaron
All of my stamping, except for the sentiment, was done with Mint Macaron ink. For the sentiment, I heat embossed with Silver embossing powder. If you wanted to make these cards for Christmas, they would be really easy to mass produce.
