Good Morning Magnolia Card
This Good Morning Magnolia card is super versatile. I’m using it for a Mother’s Day card, but it’s perfect for any feminine birthday, or even a sympathy or thinking of you. The vellum cardbase softens the colors and gives it a sense of calm. Using an Early Espresso stamp pad, I stamped the magnolia on Whisper White cardstock and colored the image with Stampin’ Blends. Even though Magnolias typically aren’t yellow, I really love how this turned out. I used white stampin’ emboss powder and the heat tool to heat emboss the magnolia on the front of the vellum cardbase.
The Good Morning Magnolia stamp set (available June 4, 2019) from Stampin’ Up! is gorgeous. The magnolia is large and works well as the focal point on an A2 card. Because it was simple and wouldn’t compete with the gorgeous magnolia, I used a sentiment from the May 2019 Paper Pumpkin.
Speaking of Paper Pumpkin, the May 2019 kit was designed by Shelli, the co-founder of Stampin’ Up!. If you love vintage, elegance, and earthy, you are going to love this kit. It’s called Hugs from Shelli. Those of us who attended OnStage got a little preview of it. Because Stampin’ Up! orders a limited quantity of these kits, if you want this kit, you need to sign up by May 10, 2019.
Good Morning Magnolia Coordinating Dies
I didn’t use them here, but the Magnolia Memory dies coordinate with the Good Morning Magnolia stamp set. If you want both, check out the bundle on June 4. You’ll save 10% by purchasing them as a bundle.
