Since I love the sample in the catalog, I decided to CASE it. CASE stands for Copy And Share Everything, or Copy and Selectively Edit. It depends on who you talk to. Whichever way you look at it, CASEing cards is a good way for beginners to learn how to design a card.
Keep in mind that CASEing refers to making your own card. It does not mean you should copy someone’s photo as use it as if it were your own.
Life Me Up Card Details
To create this card, I used Tranquil Tide, Pool Party, and Melon Mambo cardstock for the card base and the center panel. I also used some Vellum cardstock. I used White Emboss powder along with some Versamark ink to stamp and heat emboss the small hot air balloons on Tranquil Tide and Melon Mambo cardstock. Then I die cut all of the balloons using the coordinating dies.
Next, I stamped the clouds on the Pool Party cardstock. Finally, I attached the center panel, the balloons, and some of the clouds using Dimensionals.
I displayed this card at my card party last week, and it was a big hit. It’s so easy to make, yet it has that wow factor.
If you changed the sentiment, this would make a nice masculine card for Father’s Day or for a masculine birthday.
If you would like to purchase any of the supplies I used to make this card, you can shop at my online store.
There is still time to check out the blog hop I participated in last week. Leave a comment on each blog for a chance to win the giveaway.
Thanks for stopping by, and have a great day.
