Over the Moon Monogram Tag
As promised, here is the Over the Moon Monogram Tag. On Saturday the 27th, I participated in a blog hop. and I shared a box and matching card using the Over the Moon stamp set. In that post, which you can find here, I promised to share a sweet tag which coordinates with the card and box (pictured below).
You can easily cut these tags with scissors or trimmer, because the cuts are all straight. I used hole reinforcers that I found at my local office supply store. To make the hole, I used a standard three hole punch. Since the tag is so small I didn’t have to worry about the other two holes.
I made the background the same way as I did with the card and box from the July 27 post. So I won’t go into a lot of detail about how to make it. Basically, I ink blended and masked the cow on Whisper White cardstock.
I used large letter dies for the initials. You can see that I used 3M foam tape to adhere the letters. If you have the Foam Adhesive Strips, you could use those. They would be so much easier to work with on these narrow letters. Then I used the Organdy Striped Ribbon to complete the project. Since I made these tags with initials, they make the perfect tag for gifts. There’s no need for a to and from stamp. Of course, you could use one if you wanted to.
