This Penguin Place Card is perfect for your Christmas cards, but it also works well as a winter thank you card or even a winter birthday card. Just change the sentiment. I think this card would brighten anyone’s day.
For this card, I did stamp and punch the penguin and his feet. But the scarf and hat need to be fussy cut. While fussy cutting isn’t my favorite thing to do, I don’t mind doing it once in a while.
I made this card at a stamp camp. I like to attend those, especially near Christmas. Since I don’t send out a lot of cards, stamp camps or card kits are a great way to finish off my Christmas cards. Because I only tend to buy one Christmas set a year, it’s nice to have other Christmas stamps to use.
Speaking of card kits, Stampin’ Up! offers a fun crafting kit called Paper Pumpkin. In addition to card kits, some kits are geared toward treat holders. However, they don’t have to be treat holders. Find out more about Paper Pumpkin here.
