Signs of Santa retired when the new catalog launched in early June. Stampin’ Up! has brought back some of their retired Christmas stamp sets. Signs of Santa is one of those sets. That means, I can show you this cute pillow box.
I don’t do a lot of Christmas in July projects, because I prefer to wait until closer to Christmas. However, I fell in love with this pillow box. So I’m happy that I get to share it with you.
Signs of Santa Pillow Box Details
I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black ink on Crumb Cake cardstock. Then I used colored pencils to color the images. You could also stamp these images onto Whisper White cardstock and color them using Stampin’ Blends or any of our Classic Stampin’ inks and the blender pens.
Of course, you could make these pillow boxes using current products as well. Since signs of Santa is back for a brief time, I thought I would share these pillow boxes.
To make the pillow box, I used a punch board. You could also use a die, or use our Kraft Pillow Boxes then use dies to cut out your images and adhere them to the box.
To show you how versatile these pillow boxes are, I used another retired stamp set, Seasonal Chums. For these images, I again used colored pencils.
I hope you enjoyed this Christmas in July post. This will probably be my only Christmas items until August. The new Holiday Catalog is set to launch soon.
If you would like to purchase the items I used to make the Signs of Santa pillow box, please shop my online store. Remember, you can use our Kraft Pillow Boxes, you don’t want to make your own pillow box.
