I CASE’d a card layout from Chelsea Christensen’s Paper Pumpkin alternative. I changed up the colors and changed the stamp set. Also, I think this card is perfect for a thank your, thinking of you, or a masculine birthday. I love Cinnamon Cider, and I think it pairs well with the other colors. For a more feminine card, you could replace the leaves with flowers.
Also, if you wanted to step up the card, die cut the layers with the Stitched So Sweetly dies or the Scalloped Contours dies. Then add a few gems or rhinestones, maybe even a bow. For an even more stepped up version, you could die cut some of the leaves from the coordinating Intricate Leaves dies.
- Gorgeous Leaves (purchase the bundle and save 10%)
- 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ and scrap – Basic White
- 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ and scrap Early Espresso
- 5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ – Cinnamon Cider (alternatively, you could use a Cinnamon Cider card base)
- Cinnamon Cider
- Crushed Curry
- Early Espresso
- Garden Green
I did add 6″ of Cinnamon Cider ribbon. However, if you don’t have the ribbon, you could always cut a 1/2″ x 4-3/4″ piece of Cinnamon Cider cardstock. That would give you a similar look.
