#Simplestamping doesn’t get any easier than this beautiful card. I love that large floral image from the Beautiful Friendship stamp set, which is new in this catalog.
I used a standard A2 (5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″) card base made from Crumb Cake cardstock. Then I stamped the large floral image, the single floral image, then the leaves in Whisper White ink. I finished the card by stamping the sentiment in Crumb Cake ink. I didn’t think it would be readable if I used the Whisper White ink.
That’s it. It’s really simple.
The Whisper White craft ink is a pigment ink. That means it stays wet a little longer than our classic inks. Therefore, you need to either heat set it with a heat tool, or let it sit to dry. Even though it doesn’t take 8 hours to dry, I typically let my card sit overnight. That way I can be sure it’s dry.
If you wanted to step this card up a little, you could use colored pencils to add more details to the flowers. I love the look of colored pencils on Crumb Cake cardstock.
After I was done with the card, I thought it needed a little something. So I used my corner rounder to round two of the corners. I think this gives the card a little softer look.
