Sweet Strawberry Berry Basket

The Sweet Strawberry Bundle just screams berry basket. Don’t you agree?

This basket would also be great for Easter. Unfortunately Sale-A-Bration ends on February 28. (Can you believe it?) That means the Berry Delight Designer Series Paper will be gone after February 28. So I couldn’t wait to share this basket with you.

If you want to use this as a treat box, you can get 17 Dove promises, or 28 Hershey’s Nuggets, or even 6 Lindor truffles in this Sweet Strawberry Berry Basket. You could also use this basket for small gifts like hand sanitizer or jewelry.

Sweet Strawberry Berry Basket Details

I used Basic White cardstock for the basket and Stitched Nested label die cut. For the handle, trim, and Stitched Circle, I used Poppy Parade cardstock. For the detail on the handle, I used the Ornate Borders dies.

Then I punched a Story Label from the Berry Delightful DSP. When I can, I love to color. However, for this basket, I decided to punch some of the flowers from the Berry Delightful DSP using the Strawberry Builder Punch.

Before I assembled everything, I heat embossed the sentiment (from the Sweet Strawberry stamp set), using White Emboss Powder and my Heat Tool. I love how the sentiment is so bold on the Poppy Parade cardstock.

Then it was just a matter of assembling. I used dimensionals to pop up the Poppy Parade stitched circle and the flowers (except one). Then I used Tombow multipurpose glue to adhere the rest of the pieces flat, without dimension.
