Why Paper Pumpkin?
Are you a new stamper with few supplies? Maybe you’re a seasoned stamper who’s looking for something to take on the go. Paper Pumpkin is the perfect solution. When I was starting out in paper crafting a few years ago, I had no supplies and was overwhelmed by all of the choices. It didn’t take long for me to learn about card kits. Because I had no supplies, this was the perfect way for me to try a company’s products while I built up my stash.
Believe me; I checked out every card kit I could find. I didn’t like the idea of pre-made die cut pieces. It felt too paint by number to me. I was so wrong about that. You don’t have to make the projects as shown in the instructions. I had never thought about cutting up the die cut pieces or the envelopes.
There are many kits to choose from with more popping up every day. I wanted a kit that would help me build by stash of ink, paper, and stamps, but one that wouldn’t break the bank. Inks and paper rated high on my list of needed supplies. (I quickly learned that not all cardstock is created equal. But that’s a story for another blog post.)
Why I chose Paper Pumpkin Over Other Kits
I chose Paper Pumpkin for many reasons, two of which are:
- Stampin’ Up! guarantees you will not receive a duplicate ink spot in a 12-month period. That meant I could build my ink stash quickly with lots of different colors. Not all card kits come with ink.
- It is reasonably priced. So I could build my stash without breaking the bank.
Don’t take my word for it. You can subscribe to Paper Pumpkin here and just for yourself.
Now, as a more seasoned stamper, I still love Paper Pumpkin. I intended to unsubscribe after building my stash of inks. But look at these lovely tags I created using stamp sets from previous kits.
