Wild Rose Cards
Today I have two Wild Rose Cards for you. Because I had plans with family and friends this past weekend, and I wasn’t able to write a post on the 2nd, I thought I would share two cards with you today. I made these Wild Rose cards using the Wild Rose dies from the annual catalog. Such simple cards yet they have that wow factor.
For the first card, I used the flower die. Then I punched out the petal pieces and used the outline part of the die cuts. To adhere these die cuts to the card, I used dabs of Tombow. If any of the die cuts hung off the edge of the card, I snipped those overhanging pieces. To finish the card, I die cut the label from that same die set and stamped my sentiment in Rococo Rose ink. Before adhering the sentiment piece to the card, I adhered a four inch piece of the Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon.
For the second card, I used another die from the die set. Because this die is a border die, I only needed to cut three of them. Like the first card, I adhered the die cuts with Tombow. Then I used the same label die to create the label for the sentiment, which I stamped in Rococo Rose ink. Before stamping the sentiment, I stamped (after stamping off twice) the roses from Beautiful Friendship stamp set in Rococo Rose.
